Speaking of Anglicans, I was walking to College this morning when I passed Dr Williams in front of the University Sports Grounds. He wasn't dressed like this, mind you.

if you are looking for a church, here are a couple to try
st aldates oxford community church both very different.
Kyle, Do you want to grow up to dress like this someday? You'd look killer in that hat, and "Archbishop of Canterbury" has almost as nice a ring to it as "Captain Sacrament." Almost, but not quite....
Thanks for the suggestion, anonymous reader! You might be interested; I usually worshipped with the Aldates folks when I was last here, and I was in a student cell group for a couple of months out of OCC.
A., you caught me. Gold is my color, perhaps as much as purple. Ahem...
Aaron, you are a big ol' nerd. And he sits in the House of Lords, does that count?
I usually go with t-shirt and shorts... sometimes khakis? Oh wait... Religious garb? My field ed has me wearing a black robe with a red or purple stohl. I'm looking for a good yarmulke, though.
Okay, wait. Josh, where in the world are you doing your field ed? I have half a mind to get a seminarian's collar, but I have no context in which to wear it. Not, of course, that I'd ever have a context to wear archepisopal robes, but there you go...
I'm a library paraprofessional and occasional theology instructor at a liberal arts college. I teach folks how to do academic research efficiently and throughly, and I teach Christian theology at the college level and in churches. I hold the Master of Applied Theology from the University of Oxford.

Myself - I prefer all white with a cute little skull cap. :)
How lovely you ran into the old boy.
Since we're talking preferences here, I'll go with an all white tunic with a black scapular and hood. ;)

Aaron: you are right, definitely Imperial Senate. Right up there with Mon Mothma and Chi Eekway.
Ah, now somebodies going hard-core on their Benedictine brethren - Cistercian garb. And a leather belt I suppose will be next. I like it, I like it.
I thought you would appreciate that +Alan. :)

My personal choice would be red robe and a hat to match with a wide brim. Because "nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" :^)
I've seen you in yellow, Kyle, it looks good on you. Not as good as that black T-shirt with the pink lettering would, but nice...
Kyle, I'm at a United Methodist Church. I don't look so good in robes for the record.
Josh, try growing a beard or getting more of a tan.
