We're helpless in the face of the relationship, it can't be denied. Given that, uh, permanence, the relationship has to be an ever-increasing sacrifice and servanthood to others, charity, love, patience.....Therese Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03925404067634150968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009348.post-1113411980957789702005-04-13T13:06:00.000-04:002005-04-13T13:06:00.000-04:00Sounds like a vow of stability to me. :-)Sounds like a vow of stability to me. :-)Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18383939064230832392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009348.post-1113401911668124562005-04-13T10:18:00.000-04:002005-04-13T10:18:00.000-04:00Yes. So it's a good thing we've already started. ;0)

And to learn that kind of trust of God, and of specific persons, takes months and years. Happily, God has years to be with us. So now we've got to learn to spend years with one another.Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14641068117855718120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009348.post-1113398317258814072005-04-13T09:18:00.000-04:002005-04-13T09:18:00.000-04:00Good words Kyle. The reason, I think is because it takes a very, very long time for that kind of trust and maturity to develop. So, yeah, I hope to engage in community life like you describe. I've not given up on the idea but know it will take a long time and won't be easy.Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18383939064230832392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009348.post-1113352179876752832005-04-12T20:29:00.000-04:002005-04-12T20:29:00.000-04:00Oh, you gotta be careful with that, though.Oh, you gotta be careful with that, though. Not here anymorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04608981139259503155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4009348.post-1113339927450609182005-04-12T17:05:00.000-04:002005-04-12T17:05:00.000-04:00"a community ought not seek to ensure that its mem..."a community ought not seek to ensure that its members never hurt one another"

Good word. Yep -- this is right on. We are still sinners -- guess it figures that we might still sin! Being in community means we embrace that too. What was it Paul wrote about accepting one another as Christ accepted us?

Cheers!Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02295156469257261349noreply@blogger.com
